Diary Entry #21 - Canepa Novisimo Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Hey wine lovers! Here is the latest vlog! It's Canepa's Novisimo Sauvignon Blanc 2011. It's about $12 at BC Liquor stores.

Canepa's little saying is 'Canepa Wine. Italian Soul. Chilean Soil.'. Canepa winery was started back in the 1930's in Chile by an Italian man named Jose Canepa. Canepa was also the first winery in Chile to start using stainless steel barrels in the 1980's. The most outstanding milestone for the winery was back in 1979 when their Finisimo was recognized 5th in the Wine Olympics (I didn't even know there was a Wine Olympics!).

The Novisimo wines reflect the diversity if chiles soils and climates. These wines are young, fresh and fruity wines with concentrated aromas and colors. This wine is the Sauvignon Blanc, in the following weeks I'll be tasting their Novisimo Cabenet Sauvignon and their Novisimo Carmenere.

Here is the video for the Sauvignon Blanc...the other two videos will follow soon!

Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed it. And please, if you do go try this wine or have already tasted it, let me know what you think! Your feedback is always valued.
